Watch: Joe Biden and Paul Ryan 2012 Vice Presidential Debate.

After the first Presidential Debate between Democratic President Barack Obama and Republican Presidential Nominee, Mitt Romney, President Barack Obama left the nation asking what happened after a very embarrassing political tongue lashing he received from Mitt Romney. I have long decided who I was going to vote for well before the Presidential Debate, and even I was left a little perplexed over Obama’s performance.

Fast-forward to last night’s Vice Presidential Debate. Joe Biden was on a mission, he needed to sell the President’s plan to undecided voters. And he was able to do just that. After Mitt Romney’s surprising performance at the first Presidential Debate and pulling ahead of President Obama in national polls, all Paul Ryan had to do was put the nail in the coffin. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to do that.

When Martha Raddatz asked Paul Ryan to specify how he would pay for the 20% tax cut and which tax loop-holes he would eliminate, Paul Ryan didn’t have an answer, just as Mitt Romney hasn’t had an answer to for the same question over the last few months. Joe Biden ceased the opportunity to show exactly how financially destructive Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan’s plan would be.
