According to TMZ, Grammy award-winning singer Toni Braxton, has been accused of fraudulently hiding money from creditors in bankruptcy case. More on this story after the heartbeat.
Here’s what happened, court appointed Bankruptcy Trustees are going after Toni Braxton and her on again off again and sometime manager ex-husband, Keri Lewis, because they claim Braxton fraudulently transferred $53,000 to Lewis bank account in order to avoid paying creditors.
But a Rep for Toni say, “All of the payments made to Lewis prior to Toni’s bankruptcy filing were appropriate transfers for reasonable and necessary personal and business expenses in the ordinary course of her business.”
