The Queen of disco Music, Donna Summer (real name, LaDonna Adrian Gaines) passed away today at the tender age of 63.
According to TMZ.com, Donna been battling Lung Cancer for years and finally succumbed to the disease. Sources revealed that Donna believed she contracted it by inhaling toxic particles after the 9/11 attack in New York City.
Donna’s family has released a statement saying, “We are at peace celebrating her extraordinary life and her continued legacy.”
