The album sold over 1.2 million copies in its first week, beating her third album, Speak Now, which sold just fewer than 1.1 million copies. The lead single on RED, ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’ sold more than 623k digital copies, which puts it at number two behind Flo-Rida’s ‘Right Round’ single for all-time best single – week sales.
