Scream 4 has made such a huge impact overseas, that the Weinstein Company has announced Scream 5 is going to be made. Although Scream 4 was not a huge success domestically, it is expected to make a total of 10 to 20 million more dollars in the next couple of countries it opens in to make a total gross of 110 million dollars. This is a huge accomplishment for Horror movies and Franchise Movie Reboots, as certain horror movie reboots have failed to bring about sequels. Fans of Scream are excited for the news of the sequel and happy to see the story continue.
