Martha Stewart doesn’t have to let the world know that she wears Christian Louboutins. She defaces her Louboutins by coloring the soles black. Martha Stewart spoke to InStyle at this week’s American Made Awards where she pointed out the black soles of her slingback sandals (above):
“See the soles? I paint them black. I don’t like them red, even though they’re his trademark. But he doesn’t mind. He said it’s okay if I do that — I asked him!”
She’s referring to Mr. Louboutin luvbugs. Now you know Martha is not about free advertising!
Martha’s blogged about her fashion sin before, captioning a photo with, “Karena, my wardrobe mistress, painting the soles of my Louboutins black [...] this is easy if you use a broad sharpie.”
