Today’s Focus: Goals and Aspirations
More goals are set at the beginning of the year than at any other time. The gyms are packed with new faces, old faces, and temporary faces. Some goals are accomplished, but many fall by the way side. To obtain set goals, one must develop a plan to be successful. We must, however, count the cost of the time it will take to successfully achieve our goals, and then discipline ourselves to accomplish them. Commit to devise a financial spending plan this month. Set goals for the month and at the end, take inventory of where you are. Determine what worked and what did not, then adjust your plan to help you improve. The Lord will bless your efforts.
Today’s Thought: Know where you are and then devise a plan to take you where you want to be.
Today’s Prayer: “Lord, help me to set realistic goals and aspirations, then give me the strength to execute and finish the course.”
