Earlier today, I told you guys that BET fired Pooch Hall (Derwin) and Tia Mowry (Melanie) from their hit series “The Game”. Well, we now know that Pooch and Tia weren’t the only people to get the boot from BET. According to Allhiphop.com, Terrence J and Rocsi from 106 & Park will also be receiving their walking papers some time soon. More after the heartbeat.
Rumor has it, the head honchos over at BET are planning to do a massive sweep in the coming weeks and will be revamp the entire network. The layoff over at 106 & Park is nothing new as BET is known to replace the hosts after a couple of years. 106 & Park lost their core audience when they first fired Free and AJ. Shortly there after, BET revamped the entire network to give it a mainstream appeal. That too didn’t sit well with BET’s viewers.
And as for Rocsi and Terrence, they have already found job and other projects outside of BET. Both Rocsi and Terrence have found their way into acting, with Terrence starring in Steve Harvey film, “Think Like A Man”, and Rocsi in “Soul Ties”.
