I’ve never liked Fox News’s approach. They never have anything meaningful or intelligent to say and are a waste of time. I think it’s great that Crayola is offering different skin tones. I remember as a kid being frustrated with not being able to draw people in the right color (yellow was a best fit for my skin color). However, I don’t know about Crayola’s selling the skin tones as “multicultural” and selling them separate from the regular set of colors. I can imagine some of the conversations that could be had: “What race do you think this color represents?” I think it may be awkward or offensive to many adults and confusing to kids. I think Crayola could have just included a few more skin tones in the regular set and just made it easier to draw people that way.
