The AT&T 28 Days Speaker Series is hosted by 2-time Grammy award winning hip-hop artist, actor and activist, Common. After attending this event, I felt compelled to enhance my passion to empower society.Mario Armstrong, a digital lifestyle expert spoke with transparency. For example, he showed us he and his wife’s joint bankstatment from 2008. He barely had a dime to his name but it didn’t stop them from executing their vision. Mario Armstrong offered many challenges to the listeners and viewers. He spoke of how we as a society should support one another through the use of technology. It is possible with faith. The building was filled with change agents and lifelong learners. I left the building with NO business cards with my name only others. I even befriended the valet! As Mario Armstrong stated, work hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and history making starts 5p.m.- 9a.m. You can’t be a history maker if you are not willing to “Show Movement And Start History-Making Integrating Technology” a.k.a. SMASH IT! Special thanks to Stephen Fashoro, Mr. and Mrs. Mario Armstrong, Hanna Gordola, Common, Jennifer Jones of AT&T and my new valet buddies! Check out the pictures after the heart beat! By the way, CourtneyLuv was the only lifestyle blogger there!

These are awesome photos!! I made a joke with Mario about where his was and linked me here. I wish I could attend the DC event but it’s sold out. Hopefully I participate in the streamed version here online. Thanks once again for grand photos.
He is a really a great speaker!
I really need to proofread my posts. (laughs). I have a ticket for tomorrow’s Event. And yes, Common is a great speaker. He was here recently for the Anthology of Rap along with both of the authors of the book, Kurtis Blow and his son. Very edutaining.
