CHEF JAMIKA PESSOA NAMED “CHEW CREW”

My friend and Montgomery native Chef Jamika Pessoa has been named a correspondent of ABC’s “The Chew.” She made her official debut as a correspondent on, Wednesday, September 19th, appearing in-studio with hosts Mario Batali, Michael Symon, Clinton Kelly and Daphne Oz.
As a “Chew Crew” correspondent, Chef Jamika will travel and report on food news from around the country for the show. She will also join the co-hosts occasionally in studio. For more than six years, Chef Jamika Pessoa has worked as a personal chef in Atlanta, GA and is a familiar face to television viewers having competed on Season Five of Food Network’s “The Next Food Network Star.” Chef Jamika was a host of “Home Made Simple” on TLC. She is a graduate of the International Culinary Schools at the Art Institute of Atlanta and is a certified Nutrition and Wellness Consultant.
