
According to breaking news via CNN, four Detroit police officers have been shot by a gunman who walked into the police station around 4:20 a.m. this evening and opened fire. Only 1 of the four police officers has life threatening injuries. Commander Brian Davis suffered the most serious injuries, police said. He was taken to Sinai-Grace Hospital where he is in critical condition, police said. Officer David Anderson, Sgt. Ray Saati and Sgt. Carrie Shultz were the others shot.
Anderson is in temporarily serious condition. Saati was grazed by a bullet to his face, and Shultz was shot in her vest, which stopped the bullet. Other offiicers returned fired, and the gunman was killed. The motive of the gunman is unknown. This is sad. What do you think?
